Which formats can I convert?
You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG and ICO files and save them as JPG, PNG or WebP. AVIF output is offered too when your browser can save it.
What happens to transparency when I convert to JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default). PNG and WebP keep transparency.
Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Most browsers, including Chrome and Edge, cannot open HEIC files yet. On your iPhone choose Settings → Camera → Formats → “Most Compatible”, or share the photo as JPG first.
How do I get a sharp, large PNG from an SVG?
Set the width for SVG files before converting. SVG is a vector format, so it is drawn directly at that size and stays crisp at any resolution.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
