Frequently asked questions
Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
Yes. Type the X, Y, width and height values in the side panel, or select the crop box and nudge it with the arrow keys one pixel at a time (hold Shift for 10 pixels).
How do I make a round profile picture?
Choose the “Circle” shape. The crop becomes a perfect circle and the image is saved as a PNG with a transparent background, ready for social media or email signatures.
Does cropping reduce image quality?
No. The selected pixels are copied exactly, without any resizing. PNG stays lossless, and JPG is saved at the quality you choose (92% by default).
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The image is opened and cropped inside your browser, so it never leaves your device.
