Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to add the watermark?
No. The watermark is added inside your browser, so your PDF never leaves your device and nobody else can see it.
Can I write the watermark in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic, English and mixed text are shaped correctly by your browser and embedded as a sharp, print-resolution image.
Can I put the watermark behind the text?
Yes. Choose “Behind content” to draw it under the page content. On scanned pages, which are one big image, a watermark behind the content is hidden, so keep it on top there.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Pick “Custom pages” and enter ranges like 1-3, 5 or 8-. Pages outside the range stay exactly as they were.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is written into the page content, so it cannot simply be switched off in a viewer. For stronger protection, also restrict editing with the Protect PDF tool.
