Frequently asked questions
Will resizing reduce the quality of my photos?
Shrinking uses high-quality, multi-step resampling so details stay sharp without jagged edges. Enlarging cannot add detail, so turn on “Don’t enlarge smaller images” to avoid blur.
What happens if the new shape is different from my photo?
You choose: “Fill & crop” fills the frame and trims the edges, “Fit inside” keeps the whole picture and adds a background colour, and “Stretch” forces the exact size.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 images, set the size once and download them all together in a ZIP file, free and without a daily limit.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens on your device inside the browser, so your pictures stay private and the tool works even on slow connections.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF. Images keep their format where possible; GIF and BMP are saved as PNG.
