Frequently asked questions
Is cropping done on your servers?
No. The PDF is cropped inside your browser and never uploaded, so it stays completely private.
Is the cropped-away content deleted?
By default the PDF keeps it hidden outside the new crop box, so the crop can be undone in a PDF editor. If you also change the page size, apps and printers treat the new size as the real page.
Can I remove white margins automatically?
Yes. “Auto-detect margins” finds the printed area on the current page and fits the frame around it. You can still fine-tune it by hand.
Does it work with rotated or landscape pages?
Yes. You crop the page exactly as you see it; the margins are converted correctly for rotated pages.
Will the text quality change?
No. Cropping only changes the visible area. Text stays sharp and selectable, and images keep their quality.
