Inopax Tools

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy explains what information Inopax ("we", "us") processes when you use Inopax Tools at tools.inopax.com, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact hello@inopax.com.

1. Your files

Browser-based tools (marked “processed on your device”) run entirely in your web browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them.

Server-based tools (marked “sent securely to our server”, such as AI summaries, translation and chat with documents) send only the data needed for the task — for example the text extracted from your PDF — over an encrypted connection. It is processed to produce your result and is not stored afterwards, not used to train AI models, and not shared except with the AI provider that processes the request on our behalf under its data-protection terms.

2. Information we collect

  • Usage data: pages visited, approximate country, browser and device type, collected in aggregate to improve the service.
  • Technical data: IP address and request logs kept briefly for security, abuse prevention and daily usage limits.
  • Data stored on your device: preferences such as theme and language, and information you choose to save in a tool (for example your email signature details or QR scan history). This stays in your browser’s local storage and you can clear it at any time.
  • Messages you send us by email.

3. Advertising

We show ads to keep the tools free. Our advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

4. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies) or Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These tools receive usage data, never your files.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, secure and improve the tools.
  • To enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse.
  • To show and measure advertising.
  • To reply to your messages.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Write to hello@inopax.com and we will respond within 30 days. Data stored in your browser can be deleted by clearing your site data.

7. Children

Inopax Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
