How do I add the signature to Gmail?
Click “Copy for Gmail”, then in Gmail on a computer open the gear icon → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new. Paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on Mac), choose it as the default and click “Save Changes”.
Why is my Gmail signature missing images?
Gmail does not accept images uploaded from your computer inside a signature. Use a link to an image that is hosted online, such as your website or a publicly shared cloud file. Our social icons are hosted, so they always show.
Gmail says my signature is too long — what can I do?
Gmail limits signatures to 10,000 characters. Replace uploaded images with image links, remove unused fields or choose a compact template. The HTML code tab shows how many characters your signature uses.
Does the signature work in the Gmail mobile app?
Emails sent from the Gmail app on Android or iPhone use a separate plain-text mobile signature. Your HTML signature is used when you send from Gmail in a web browser.
