Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
Inopax adds an electronic signature — an image of your handwritten signature — which many everyday agreements accept. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, so if a document requires a qualified or certificate signature, use a dedicated signing service.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and signed entirely in your browser. Your document and your signature never leave your device.
Can I reuse my signature next time?
Yes, if you tick “Save on this device”. The signature is stored only in this browser, and you can delete it at any time with one click.
How do I get a clean signature from a photo?
Sign on white paper, take a sharp photo and upload it. Keep “Remove white background” on and adjust the threshold until only the ink remains.
Can I initial every page at once?
Yes. Place your initials once, then use “Apply to all pages” to copy them to the same spot on every page.
