Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Your browser renders the pages into images on your own device, so your documents are never uploaded and nobody else can see them.
Which resolution should I choose?
72 DPI is enough for screens and chat apps, 150 DPI suits most documents, and 300 DPI gives print-quality images with larger files.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Click pages in the preview to skip them, or type ranges such as 1-3, 5 or 8- in the Pages field. It works with several PDFs at once.
What about password-protected PDFs?
Enter the password when asked. The PDF is unlocked locally in your browser and the password is never sent anywhere.
How are the images named?
Each image is named after its PDF and page number, for example report-page-1.jpg. Several images are bundled into one ZIP file.
